About Saria

Saria is a peer-to-peer marketplace where buyers and sellers connect to buy and sell curated items — from saris and lehengas to accessories and handmade goods. We believe the best commerce happens when trust is built directly between people, not hidden behind algorithms.

We grew out of a simple observation: online shopping had become impersonal. Giant marketplaces prioritise volume and scale, leaving little room for the character and story that make secondhand and handmade commerce special. We wanted a platform where sellers can showcase their taste and expertise, and buyers can discover pieces with confidence from people they can message, learn from, and support.

Our mission

To make peer-to-peer commerce rewarding — for sellers to earn a fair income doing what they love, and for buyers to discover great pieces while supporting independent sellers.

How it works

For buyers: browse curated listings, negotiate with offers, check out securely, and track your order. If something goes wrong, our Trust & Safety process is there to help.

For sellers: list an item in minutes with photos and a description, set your own price, ship when you're ready, and get paid after delivery. Payments run through Stripe and we take a small commission to keep the platform running.
